Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

Sometimes symptoms in the arm and hand are actually due to a problem in the shoulder or chest. Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) is an example of this.

Frozen Shoulder

The formal name for frozen shoulder is adhesive capsulitis, which means "sticky, inflamed capsule". As the shoulder begins to freeze, it is the capsule that has become tight or "stuck".
